2005-04-17 on a Kawai Baby Grand

As with nearly all songs I've released, when I recorded it, I had no intention of anyone besides myself EVER hearing it. That's what gives me the freedom to experement and try new things that I wouldn't do if I knew someone else would hear it. Well this was one of the first and only times I tried singing while playing the piano. For so many years I've been afraid of letting people hear me sing, OR play the piano, and I believed that I couldn't do both at the same time. Well now I'm letting you hear both! I get embarrassed, and think my singing and playing isn't "GOOD ENOUGH". But now after listening to it today, I realize especially the first three minutes are really special, and someone should be allowed hear it besides me :) Enjoy, my friends. This is me.
